After you install, there are two paths

You were invited to a care circle

Download the app, sign in, and enter the invite code whoever set up the circle gave you. That is the whole process — there is nothing to request from us, and no approval to wait on. If you do not have a code yet, ask the person who runs the circle, usually the Care Manager.

You are setting one up

Choose Create a Care Circle. You add the participant — the person receiving care — and become the Care Manager, the person who runs staffing, medication schedules, task plans, and approvals. Then you invite caregivers and family with a code. Most people are tracking care within a few minutes. If the participant cannot run the app themselves, family-directed mode lets a family member or advocate direct the circle on their behalf, with the participant still at the centre of their own care.

What you get

• Medications — a full eMAR for scheduled doses, plus PRN tracking with dose windows and daily maximums. Declines are logged with a reason instead of left blank.
• Shifts — tap to clock in and pick your shift. Clocking out reviews the shift's notes and medications, with a handoff note for whoever comes next.
• Daily notes — a running journal with severity levels for health concerns, and a visibility tier on every note so it reaches only who you meant.
• Tasks and routines — daily living activities and weekly tasks, with a record of what was completed or why it was skipped.
• A shared calendar — appointments for the whole circle, with Google Calendar sync in the participant's own time zone.
• Record exports — clean PDF, CSV, or Excel exports of medications, health events, notes, tasks, and work messages, for a reassessment or a doctor's appointment.

How it works walks through a full day in a care circle, and is also where you will find the plain list of what LynCare deliberately is not — it is not an EVV system, and it does not replace the timesheet your fiscal agent requires.

Worth knowing first

LynCare is free during early access, with no ads and no data selling. When early access ends, existing care circles get clear advance notice before anything changes, and your records are always yours to export from inside the app. The longer answer is on the support page.
